Villa Bajano is located in the Jan Thiel neighbourhood of Curaçao. That is on the eastern part of the island. The hotspot there is Jan Thiel Beach. Here you will find multiple beach clubs, shops, restaurants, a spa and a casino. Villa Bajano is a 5-minute walk from Jan Thiel Beach. A 3-minute walk from the villa is the Van der Tweel supermarket. The neighbourhood is called Vista Royal. It is a beautiful neighbourhood with many lovely detached houses on a hill. However, very few houses are located so close to the entrance of Jan Thiel Beach, yet so quietly situated and without having to climb the hill every time!

There are various spots at Jan Thiel Beach where you can enjoy the sun and beach. There is Papagayo beach with a saltwater infinity pool. Or the coveted cabanas and palapas of Zest. At Zanzibar you can jump straight into the water and there are many sun loungers to be found. And relaxing on the beach is also possible at Kokos.

There are six different restaurants at Jan Thiel Beach: Papagayo Restaurant, Zest Restaurant, Zest Beach Cafe, Zanzibar Restaurant, Tinto Bar Y Cocina and Koko's. The restaurants regularly have live music or a DJ.

The Van der Tweel supermarket sells many Albert Heijn products. Very handy for all your daily groceries such as fruit, vegetables, bread, spreads, drinks, toiletries etc. or a nice fresh breakfast in the morning.
